Crystal Serenity is an exemplary project marking a first for NIS Signs in its 84 year history (and let’s be honest, after 84 years a first deserves to be celebrated).
We are very proud to be able to have been a part of the transformation team and we look forward to continuing to support Crystal Cruises in the future through other signage enrichment, innovation and deployment programmes.
Crystal Serenity’s transformation project consisted of over 200 signs including glass way-finding signage, public room identities, informational and safety signs, all of which have been produced in-house in our UK factory. These were then delivered and installed by our own highly skilled workforce during the vessels dry-docking in Lloyd Werft, Bremerhaven.
Alongside our existing partnerships and nominated manufacturer status for several fashion, retail, petrol and quick service restaurant brands, we at NIS signs are pleased to be able to offer our holistic services to cruise companies and shipyards alike.
To this end, and to build on both our recent success alongside the established expertise held within our company, we have now formed a specialist cruise team.
This new team will be led by Justin Earith and Andrew Hooton who have nearly 40 years combined expertise in cruise ship signage, way-finding and environmental graphics between them. Both Justin and Andy will already be familiar names to many within the new build and refurbishment teams of the leading cruise brands. We believe their specialist experience coupled with class leading in-house prototyping and manufacturing facilities will enable us to add value to many other vessels in the future.
This is just part of our ongoing commitment to develop and strengthen our signage, art and fabrication services globally and we hope to be able to share more exciting developments and projects in forthcoming months.
